before your student is able to participate in practices/games. Additionally, the PIAA is mandating students
and parents read and sign a Sudden Cardiac Arrest information sheet. This form
will be provided to your student athlete by their coach and the signed form
MUST be returned to your coach.
The calendar adopted for the

BESSIE STANLEY
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
The following is the procedure for absences, early dismissals and late arrivals at KMS.
Absences
If your child is absent on a given day, please call the school, (610) 268 5878, to notify us. Additionally, a note MUST be sent in upon your child’s return to school; without the note, your child’s absence will be considered unexcused.
Early Dismissals
If you know you will be picking your child up during school hours, please send a note in with your child on that day stating the time they are to be dismissed from class. The school will issue your child a pass to come to the office at that time. You must come into the Main Office to sign your child out.
Late Arrivals - In the event your child will be late to school, your child MUST sign in with the Attendance Secretary, located in the Guidance Office. Please send your child in with a note stating the reason for their tardiness. Pick ups AFTER the school day - If you choose to pick your child up after the school day, the arrangement is between you and your child. KMS does not need a note for after school pick ups.
For more details on the above items, please refer to the Student Handbook that was sent home with your child.
You may access information regarding Pinnacle Parent access on the KCSD home website, in the "For Parents" section. If you have a technical question, including questions on your log in: please send an email to iss@kcsd.org
