Today's Boys Lacrosse games have been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 28.
Today's Girls Lacrosse game is ON
The Kennett High School Cheerleaders will be holding an open clinic to those interested in Cheerleading for KHS. This opportunity is open to all current 8-11th grade Students.
The Pre Tryout Clinic will be held:
Monday April 27th at KMS 3-5pm
Tuesday April 28th at KHS Aux Gym 4-6pm
Wednesday April 29th at KHS Aux Gym 4-6pm with a Parent meeting to follow from 6-630pm
Note: This is not a tryout week
This Clinic will provide instruction on Cheerleading Fundamentals, stunting, and tumbling.
KHS Girls Soccer
There will be a girls soccer player and parent meeting on Wednesday, April 29th at 6:30pm in the high school cafeteria for all girls currently in grades 8-11 interested in playing girls soccer next year . The coach will be introduced and he will be giving information for off-season training and information for next year. Please plan to attend.
Snow Make-Up Days
In accordance with the 2014-2015 calendar, student make-up days for school cancellations are as follows -
Tuesday, February 17 will be made up on Thursday, June 11, 2015; Monday, March 2 will be made up on Friday, June 12, 2015; Thursday, March 5 will be made up on Monday, March 30, 2015; and Friday, March 6 will be made up on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.
KMS Spring Pictures
Pictures that you do not wish to purchase should be returned to your homeroom teacher as soon as possible. You should also return any picture money for purchase to your homeroom teacher.
Blue Demon Basketball Camp
The 2015 Blue Demon Basketball Camp is scheduled to run from Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2.

Student Faculty Game
The student faculty game has been rescheduled. The game will be held on April 10th at 7pm. We cannot wait to see the teachers win!
Weightlifting program began for current 7th and 8th graders (who intend to play football) on Monday March 23rd from 6-7 PM, and will continue from that day, every Monday and Thursday from 6-7 PM. If there is no school on the days of lifting then there is no lifting.

The Kennett Education Foundation’s Honor a Teacher or Staff Member (HATS) program lets you honor anyone working in the Kennett Consolidated School District. Parents or children may recognize any of our staff, including bus drivers.

A donation is not required but will be gratefully accepted and will go towards innovative, KEF supported classroom program.
Once your request is received, the staff member will receive a certificate announcing that they have been honored by you, including any comments you made about them. The staff member is not informed of the amount of your donation, only that they have been honored.
The HATS OFF program is a yearlong program; you may honor a teacher, administrator or staff member at any time.

PAY TO PLAY:
Once your student-athlete has made a KMS team, his/her coach will provide the Pay to Play information ($30/sport). This fee must be paid before your student is able to participate in practices/games. Additionally, the PIAA is mandating students and parents read and sign a Sudden Cardiac Arrest information sheet. This form will be provided to your student athlete by their coach and the signed form MUST be returned to your coach.
