Measuring Progress
As part of our commitment to supporting your child’s academic success, assessments, including the iReady and the aimswebPlus benchmark testing is done three times each school year.
Assessments provide valuable insights into your child’s progress in reading and mathematics. However, this is just one data point of your child’s overall performance.
Understanding Your Child’s Data
The reports shared with families offer detailed information about a child’s current performance levels, growth, and areas of strength and improvement.
iReady Diagnostic Reports
- Shows a child’s performance relative to grade-level expectations in mathematics.
- The report identifies a child’s math level, areas of strength, and focus areas for growth.
aimswebPlus Benchmark Reports
- Highlights your child’s progress in foundational literacy skills, such as fluency a
- comprehension.
- How your child’s performance compares to expected grade-level benchmark.
We encourage parents to review these reports to gain insight into their child’s academic journey. The child’s teacher can assist parents with interpreting the data.
