Kennett Education Foundation (KEF)
Since 2001, the Kennett Education Foundation (KEF) has partnered with the Kennett Consolidated School District to encourage innovative ideas, invest in programs that improve academic progress, promote family involvement and recognize the outstanding achievements of educators.
As a non-profit 501(C)(3), the Foundation relies on donations to fund the many programs they support. These contributions originate from individuals, businesses (including matching gifts programs), foundations and other organizations (such as the United Way and the Chester County Community Foundation) that align with their mission and the success of their initiatives.
KEF offers recognition as well as education grants and scholarships to students and teachers in the Kennett Consolidated School District.

Bottom of the Book Bag
A successful school always reflects cooperation between the parents and staff. Parent/Teacher Organizations (PTO) provide the format for parents, teachers and staff at each of the Kennett Consolidated School District’s schools to interact in support of the welfare and education of the students in a manner which is consistent with the philosophy and academic standards of the school. Each of the Kennett Consolidated School District’s PTOs is extremely active in sponsoring activities that provide a benefit to each student. We encourage you to become involved with your school’s PTO.
To keep parents updated on the activities of the PTOs and the schools, each PTO distributes an email message known as Bottom of the Book Bag. Bottom of the Book Bag is a way to communicate important information to parents and guardians of all Kennett Consolidated School District students. If you’d like to receive your school’s Bottom of the Book Bag please contact the appropriate representative:
