The KHS Colorguard is having a “learn to spin” meeting on Wednesday April 20th from 6-7pm in the band room at the Kennett High School. Anyone who is interested in joining the color guard for the fall marching band season can attend. No experience is necessary! We will teach you everything you need to know! Sports physicals will be offered at Kennett Middle School on June 7 & 9 for students entering 7th and 8th grade who plan to try out for cheerleading or ANY sport next year. The cost of a school physical is $15. If students plan to have a physical done in school, the deadline to return consent forms is June 1st.

PIAA Sports packets are available in the nurse’s office and outside of the main office. Pick up your packet today and bring home to discuss with your parents!

8th grade students must have their sports physical done privately or through NovaCare. 8th graders will receive a letter from Kennett High School in May regarding sports and physicals.

Friday, April 15, 2016 is Hat Day at Kennett Middle School.  In order to wear a hat, students need to bring in the recommended $1 minimum donation to their 1st period teacher.  All proceeds support Demons Against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Kennett Middle School’s night at the Market will be April 12th from 5 to 8pm. Please come out to support the PTO. 15 percent of the sales will support the middle school PTO.

Calling all KMS students:

Help us design our summer elementary STEM camp t-shirt!

Requirements: must incorporate robotics and Kennett themes, must have your name added to the side/bottom of the design, must fit on one side of the shirt and be designed with one color, and must be creative!

The first ten submissions will receive a Kennett square for their dedication!

Turn in your submissions by Monday April 25th to Mr. Powell or Miss Tomaino!
