Coming soon to KMS…LUNCH & LEARN!

What is LUNCH & LEARN? It’s an opportunity for students to meet various professionals and gain real-life knowledge about the world of work in that domain. The first session will focus on careers in the field of Engineering!

If that is an area of interest for you or you just want to learn about engineering, be sure to sign up! Sessions are limited to 15 students. The sign-up sheet is posted on the window of the Counseling Office. DON’T MISS OUT! See any of the School Counselors with questions.

Congratulations to the top 7 girls and 7 boys that represented Kennett Middle School’s cross-country team. Props to Gavin Maxwell for finishing the race in first place against the 11 other teams that ran with his time of 10:52. The whole team running had a stellar performance and continue to impress those around them in how they keep breaking personal records. Please wish the whole team congratulations when you see them wearing their spirit gear! GO KMS XC!

The 8th grade field hockey team defeated Stetson yesterday by a score of 2-0. Julia Kosara and Devon Johnson each scored a goal and Holland Sellers had an assist. Soleil Jevtitch made 4 saves on her way to another shutout. Way to go Kennett!

The 8th grade volleyball team dominated the Stetson Falcons yesterday. With Alex Seel and Carly Cicconi’s wonderful serves, we beat them in the 3rd game. Lauren Markle and Hannah Slicer spiked all throughout the three games. Alana Boiardi defensively played great at the net. Collette Franck and Lexi Cicconi set up many of key plays. Mariella Aguilar and Madison Weaver conquered our back row. Zara Quraishi, Dylan Wilkins, and Paige Brown made the game with all of their free-balls. Come support us next Friday with our last home game. Go Demons

Attention students the first KMS dance is tonight sponsored by the PTO. The dance starts at 7 and costs $4 to get in. Make sure someone is here to pick you up promptly at 9.

Congrats to the 8th grade boys soccer team. They tied Pierce who has a 5 and 2 recond. Shout out to Nathan Thompson and Joey MacMillan for strong defense. Way to go guys!
