“Yesterday, the 8th grade volleyball team won against Pierce Middle School.
During the game, the following ladies served aces: Alex Seel, Lauren Markle, Lexi Cicconi, and Madison Weaver. Lexi Cicconi and Colette Frank were setting it up while Emma Schmidt was working hard to keep up with the team’s stats. Hannah Slicer and Dylan Wilkins had great spikes to the back row. Alana Boiaradi rose above the others with blocking and had a successful tip. Zara Quraishi, Carly Cicconi, and Mariella Aguilar had great passes from the back row. Team spirit was rallied by Paige Brown. The winning point was scored after Lauren Markle rolly-pollied allowing Alex Seel to free ball over for the kill.”
