Is Was A Great Day To Be At KMS…

Friday, February 24 was such a great day to be at Kennett Middle School. A few weeks prior to this day, students worked very hard during LEAD, a mentoring program at Kennett Middle School. LEAD stands for Listen, Encourage, Advise, and Discuss.  Students were hard at work creating Kennett Squares for the faculty and staff of our building. The Kennett Squares that students created were then distributed on February 24. We had a “K-cart” come to each room in the building. The cart was accompanied with students, parents, and administrators. The cart was decorated by students with Mrs. Maryanne Uhl in the art room. The cart had treats and fun classroom supplies on it. Teachers were directed to pick a few treats from the cart and were given the Kennett Squares. The adults in the building appreciated the feedback from students. Many teachers were moved to tears because of the things students wrote. What a great day of recognition!
