Hopefully you remember hearing a lot about the documentary “What’s so cool about manufacturing” that 5 KMS students were making over the last few months. You may even remembering voting in computer class to support their efforts. Well, on Wednesday night the awards ceremony was held at the campus of Penn State Great Valley. With 13 Schools competing only 6 were awarded prizes. The viewers choice award was the last award of the evening. A total of 24,000 votes were cast for this award which is more than 5 times the amount cast all of last year in the same contest. This year, your very own Kennett Middle School won the Viewer Choice award with a grand total of 7,000 votes – 3 times the amount of any other submission in this years contest. If you see Aidan Cairns, Robby Rauscher, Catt Seamon, Baden Saatloff, or Luke Summa please congratulate them on their hard work and for bring back some fine hardware to KMS! Congratulations everyone! With more than 3 times the amount of votes than any other school we won the viewers choice award.
