Attention all LEGO Robotics members: no team meeting after school today. Repeat: there will be no LEGO Robotics team meeting today, we will see you Thursday after school for our next meeting!

1st FCA Huddle of the School Year will be Thurs, Oct 5th in Mr Bowlings room (B104) at 6:50am. FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The group talks about how to impact others and the world by combining sports with faith. There are inspiring talks, guest speakers, fun games and food! You do NOT have to be on a school sports team to be a part of this group. All students from all grades are welcome! Breakfast is provided (usually donuts) and it’s a great and uplifting way to start your day! Come and check it out next Thursday before school.

The 8th grade Writing Club will have an election for their leadership positions during lunch on Wednesday 10/4 in A207. Any Writing Club member or interested student should plan to attend Wednesday during lunch in A207.

Attention students, faculty and staff: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an initiative to educate people about breast cancer risks, the value of screening and early detection, and treatment. The color pink has come to symbolize breast cancer awareness. To help raise awareness Student Council will be hosting a PINK OUT. Show your support by participating in a school wide PINK OUT on Wednesday. On Wednesdays we wear PINK!

The Seventh Grade Field Hockey Team had an impressive 3 -0 win over Lionville on Friday. The defense allowed zero shots in the first half, and the midfield and attack dominated with shots on goals against Lionville throughout both halves. Shout out to Megan Ward for her hat trick. Way to go 7th grade.

Attention all boys and girls soccer players. Soccer players, do not forget to get your clothing orders and money turned in to Coach Saikin by this Friday, October 6th.

The 7th grade boys soccer team defeated Avon Grove on Friday 2 to 0. Scoring for Kennett were strikers Geovanni Soto and Drew Zieg. It was a strong team effort that led to the win. The next boys soccer game is this Wednesday, away at Peirce.
