Attention students, faculty, and staff: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an initiative to educate people about breast cancer risks, the value of screening and early detection, and treatment. Did you know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime? And although it is rare, over 2,000 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year as well. The color pink has come to symbolize breast cancer awareness. Today many of us are wearing pink as part of our KMS PINK OUT.

Thank you for wearing your pink today!
