8th graders, it’s time to assembly our team for the documentary contest “What’s so Cool About Manufacturing.” If you’re interested in producing, writing, filming, and editing a documentary film please meet in Mr. Malkasian’s room this Thursday, October 12th during lunch. We need to assemble a team quickly to ensure that we’re able to bring home another victory for KMS.

The Seventh grade field hockey team beat Fugett 5-0 yesterday. A great job by all girls. Raina Bickle, Bridget Wells, and Norah
Peterson each got a goal and Lucy Myers got two. The mid-field and defense played tough helping the goalies keep a shut out. Elizabeth Calhoun and Grace Weaver led defense and middies, Allie, Britney. Sarah and Jordan controlled the mid-field. Great job girls! Come watch tomorrow as we take on Patton at home!
The 8th grade field hockey team defeated Fugett by a score of 2 to 1. The Demons found themselves in an early one to nothing deficit. But a goal by Kaylah Butler tied the score at one. Late in the second half with the score still tied Vivian Chiomento scored to take a 2 to 1 lead. Genevieve Ebaugh and Meredith Day each had an assist. Anna Tresoldi made 7 saves and solid defense by Corrina Kley, Sarah Hetrick and Julianne Staudenmayer preserved the victory for Kennett.
