Monday, December 11, 2017 Day 4

Congratulations to our Robotics Team who competing at the Westtown School in the FLL Robotics Competition over the weekend. After a day of giving their best, one of our teams was awarded the Robot Design Award! The judges recognized the uniqueness of the team’s innovative design, and the hard work they put in to developing that robot. Both of our teams came close to moving on to the next round of competition. We are proud of the incredible dedication they showed throughout the entire season and we look forward to next year’s season! Congratulations, FLL team!

Today, the 6th Grade Chorus classes will have their combined rehearsals. Students who are in Mrs. Mancuso’s 2nd period classes will report to the small gym immediately following announcements. Students who are in Mrs. Mancuso’s 3rd period classes will rehearse during periods 3 and 4 today in the small gym. Teachers, positive attendance will be taken.

7th Grade students will have their rehearsals tomorrow. The schedule for both days is posted on the white board outside of the main office.

All boys and girls basketball players, please turn in your shirt order forms to Coach Gottstein no later than Monday 1stperiod. There are extra order forms outside Coach’s classroom (D103). Any staff interested are welcome to order a Kennett Basketball long sleeve dri-fit shirt too! See Coach Gottstein with any questions.

This weekend your blue demon wrestlers traveled to Chichester to wrestle at the H Louis Stopper tournament. Overall the team had a strong showing.

In 4th place were:  Christian Vega, Will Chandler, and Alvaro Guzman.

In 3rd place were:  Ismael Torres, Dylan Boddy, and Samantha Mondragon

In 2nd place was: Bailey Shindle

Your champions were: Josh Barlow and 2 time champion Darrale Barrett

The team will be away today at Octarara. Go Blue Demons.

Congratulations to the girls basketball team for their convincing win over Peirce Middle school. Megan Ward and Lili Lusvardi lead the team in scoring with 10 points each in Kennett’s 43-3 victory.
