Remember all the notes we wrote to send to children fighting cancer? Here is a note we received…

On behalf of everyone here at the Eastern PA Chapter of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I want to thank you all for your hard work in fundraising and raising awareness for blood cancers. Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is dedicated in their mission to someday find a cure for blood cancers, and your help is bringing us closer to the goal of making someday today! It is wonderful to see our mission reaching students in their schools. Mr. Ruebeck shared with me how impactful and meaningful the event was for you all. We here at LLS are truly grateful to all those who share in our mission and help in our advocacy. It’s reassuring to see that even though you could not attend the Philadelphia Light The Night Walk, you still took time to make lives brighter in your own way.

The First cheerleading practice will be held on Monday, November 27th from 2:40-4:30. Meet Coach Schuessler at the girls locker room.

Students there will be no Battlebots tomorrow Wednesday 11/22.

Here is an awareness project that is happening all around us. “No Straw November.” Plastic straws are one of the main ocean plastic polluters, help us change that! The goal of “No Straw November” is to bring awareness to the many plastic straws that are being used once and then thrown away in a single month. Jr Ocean Guardians challenges you to refuse plastic straws the whole month of November and to keep a tally of how many straws you eliminated from potentially ending up in the ocean.
