The KHS Sophomore class is hosting a powder-puff football game. The game is Friday, May 18th at 3pm at the football stadium. The cost is 5 dollars to get in.

Attention KMS! Career Day is today! The 6th and 7th grade will be touring our career fair in the gym. The 8th grade will be learning about dressing for the world of work, how to impress in a job interview, and will attend three career presentations. Over 60 career volunteers from the community will be in our building, so we hope everyone came to school dressed for success!!!

The softball team got back on winning track yesterday by clobbering Fugett 25-0. The team piled up 19 hits in 3 innings lead by Shannon Harvey who went 4 for 4 with 5 RBIs and Amber Kahrs who went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs. Grace Baliff, Genevieve Ebaugh, Meredith Day, and Maddie Sears all had 2 hits and drove in runs. Maddie Casale got her first hit of the season and Jules Staudenmeyer walked in a run and scored twice. The team’s final game is on Monday May 14th at home against Avon Grove.

The 7th grade boys baseball season ended with a 6 to 1 win over Fugett yesterday afternoon to finish undefeated on the new KMS Field. Matt Patrissi and “Shay-mus” Smith-Walsh had key doubles. Drew “Zig”, Ryan King, Ben Bolhouse, and Adrian “Shev-chuck” all had 2-hit games. Chris Murphy threw 4 shutout innings followed by 3 innings from Brennan Smith, each with 3 strikeouts.
