Friday, December 18, 2018 Day 4

There will be a yearbook meeting on Wednesday December 19th until 3:15 in Mrs. Lozada’s room

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball team on their 2 strong wins Friday and Yesterday.

On Friday Kennett shut down a loud Unionville crowd and the girls let their playing do the talking for them.

Kennett WON 20-14. With Brittany Sedano, the Ice Queen, going 3 for 4 from the line as the clock was ticking down.

Yesterday Kennett beat Chi-Chester 40-22. The offense was led by the 1 ,2 punch of Lusvardi and Kelly who combined for half of Kennett’s offense. 7 players total contributed on the offensive end – including the first bucket for Emily Althouse. Megan Ward held down the paint on the defensive end shutting down their 6’2” center.

Great work ladies…good luck in your game tomorrow! And come on out and support the team on Thursday in their final home game before the break.

Hi students. There is no work Wednesday this week. Please do not stay after school. Go home on the bus as usual. Thank you.

Attention Battlebot club members. There will be no Battlebots this Thursday December 20th. If you have any questions please see Mr. Powell in room D105.

Attention KMS…6th Graders, 7th Graders, and 8th Graders! Let’s continue the clues to reveal the title of the 2019 KMS Musical.

Clue #2: This year’s musical was originally written as a 15 minute musical for a school, but it was filmed in 1999…

All students interested in performing on stage or working back stage on Stage Crew should listen carefully to these important details and dates:

All stage performers: Actors, singers, dancers, and tumblers: The meetings to teach you how to be prepared for auditions are Thursday, January 3rd and Friday, January 4th after school from 2:35-4:30 in the cafeteria. You should attend one meeting, but you may attend both to be more confident and feel more prepared for your audition. If you do not attend one of these meetings, you may not be best prepared to audition. Everyone who performs on stage must audition, but everyone who auditions will be invited to perform in the musical in May.

Students interested in working on Stage Crew: You must attend ONE of the meetings on Thursday, January 3rd ORFriday, January 4th after school from 2:35-3:45 in the cafeteria. At this meeting you will hear from Mrs. Coe what the different roles are and what is done back stage. You will pick your top 3 role choices.

There will also be an informational meeting for parents of students interested in auditioning or joining Stage Crew on Tuesday, January 8 at 6:30pm. This meeting is primarily for parents of students interested in the KMS Musical for the first time, but all parents are welcome.

If you have any questions, please see or contact Mrs. Uster or Mrs. Coe as soon as possible. Pay attention to tomorrow’s morning announcements for the 3rd Musical reveal clue.

Have a great day KMS
