What’s so cool about manufacturing students, if you have not turned in your permission slip for the trip tomorrow, please do so today. Additionally, you will be dismissed tomorrow over the loudspeaker. Go to your first period class as scheduled and wait for dismissal. These students must come to the TV studio right now to get an additional permission slip.

Spirit Wear for Sale

During Parent Teacher Conferences this week, please stop by the PTO table and pick up some spirit wear, just in time for the winter season. We will have long sleeve shirts for $10 and sweatpants for $20. Please see pictures below. All proceeds benefit the PTO and support our KMS students and faculty. Accepting cash and checks only.

The First Lego League Robotics team will host an open house outside the cafeteria on Tuesday, November 20 from dismissal time until 2 PM. All Robotics Team members are to report to the cafeteria after dismissal on Tuesday morning. Any parents of KMS students and their siblings and friends visiting the school for conferences are invited to see the robots and to ask questions about the team’s work this year. The team goes to their tournament on December 1. Wish them luck!”

Attention NaNoWriMo participants: Beginning this past Friday, Ms. Hahn will be hosting a writing lunch in A207 every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for writers looking to boost their word count and stay ahead of deadlines. Next week on Tuesday, November 13 and Wednesday, 14, Ms. Hahn will host an after school writing party. Pre-registration is suggested. Signups are outside of A207. Students wishing to participate must have a ride home at 5:00pm. Information regarding food at the party will be available at registration.

Last Monday, the 7th grade participated in our Adopt-A-Family event. We raised over $1,000 for families in our community. Great job 7th grade!

During the afternoon, students worked in groups to complete a scavenger hunt throughout the school.

We are pleased to announce the 3 winning groups! Winning student groups please see Mrs. Orbon sometime today to arrange your prize.

The winners are:

3rd place – Team Ella, Emily, Chloe, Mia, Pagie, and Sarah with 10,000 points

2nd place – Team #Kennetcrushinit with 10, 100 points

1st place – Team Sister Squad with 10,400 points
