Good morning. Today is the fourth day of “National School Counseling Week” and we want to celebrate diversity.
Look around your classroom What do you see?
None of us is alike. We look different, sound different and think differently. As was pointed out on Monday, we are all unique. And what a beautiful school we have as a result!
The poet Maya Angelou said, “We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.“
When it comes right down to it, we are all different inside and out. Our diversity is the one true thing we all have in common.
Acknowledge your differences and celebrate them. Not just today, but every day.
The Counselor Quote of the day: In diversity there is beauty and there is strength.
Looking for a Valentine’s gift for that special someone? Student Council will be selling carnations for $1 during 6th, 7th, and 8th grade lunches from Tuesday, February 12th through Thursday, February 14th. All proceeds will benefit Unite for Her, which provides breast cancer support, services, groups and other resources for women in Chester County and the surrounding areas diagnosed with breast cancer.
8th Graders who have not turned in their permission forms for the TCHS field trip on February 22nd, please get them signed and turn them in to either your homeroom teacher or the guidance office! You don’t want to miss out on this super fun and informative afternoon!
Students, tomorrow are spring pictures. Comb your hair and bring your smile. Pictures will happen during math class.
