Tuesday, March 26, 2019 Day 1

Attention KMS Students and Staff, this Thursday is the Phillies Home Opener. To celebrate the coming of Spring and the new baseball season, wear your Phillies gear! No Pirates gear, Mr. Moore. Let’s go Phils!

This passed Saturday our KMS Treble Choir performed as part of the Jonathan Beech Memorial Concert benefiting the make a wish foundation. It was a beautiful performance. They worked hard and represented KMS bursting with Kennett Pride. The Kennett High school Chorus performed and were also joined by many local musicians. Do yourself a favor and go to the concert next year. You won’t be disappointed. It was amazing to see that much talent on one stage.

School Law requires scoliosis screening for all students in 6th & 7th grade. Scoliosis Screening will be done during 7th grade gym classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week for students who did not already have this screening performed during a physical examination or sports physical. The purpose of scoliosis screening is to check for possible curvature of the spine.

Today wraps up the 3rd marking period. Wednesday starts the 4th and final marking period. Finish strong. Make sure to turn in any missing assignments to your teachers today. We hope you had a meaningful conference last week.

Attention all students who’ve been involved with the TV studio this year. Mr. Bosch from the high school TV studio will be visiting KMS this Thursday during 8th-grade lunch. If you’re interested in learning more about the KHS tv studio, please attend this meeting on Thursday during lunch.

Have a great day KMS.
