Wednesday, April 10, 2019 Day 6

After-The-Bell activity confirmations have been handed out in homeroom and are listed outside of the cafeteria. Want to join the fun but forgot to bring in your form? No worries – bring it in this week as After-The-Bell starts right after Spring Break.

8th grade- Field Trip Permission papers for our trip to Camp Arrowhead are due by the end of this week.

There will be a FCA huddle tomorrow morning at 6:50am in Mr bowling’s room.

Attention 8th grade,

Tomorrow Ms. Rita Ross, a survivor of the Holocaust, will be coming to speak to the 8th grade. This is a rare opportunity to hear about the Holocaust first hand from someone who lived it. Please dress for success and show your KMS PRIDE. Dresses, pants without holes, and collared shirts are possible examples, but not the only options. If you have any questions, please see your Language Arts or ESL teacher.

The 7th grade baseball team rallied for 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning for a walk-off 7-6 win over Pierce Middle School. Stars of the game included David Lillis with 2 hits and several running catches in center field, Ryan Cicconi and Colin Sarosi with 6 innings of solid pitching, and Matthew Burns and Will Altman with clutch doubles in the Blue Demons’ amazing last turn at bat.

The Kennett softball girls showed a valiant effort at their game against Peirce Middle School yesterday. Each player put their whole heart into the game. Some highlights from the game included: Aniya Pacheo with two outstanding catches in center field, a strong connection between our pitcher Ella Schaub and catcher Abby Adelman, AND A TWO RUN HOME RUN BY THE ONE AND ONLY MADDI SEARS!!! Great job ladies – good luck at your game on Thursday against South Brandywine!

Have a great day KMS.
