Calling all animal lovers! KMS is hosting a pet food and supply drive benefiting the animals of Faithful Friends Animal Society, a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter in Wilmington, Delaware. Faithful Friends is home to about 602 animals that need your help! Please bring in donations of dog and cat food and treats, toys, paper towels and dish soap, blankets, cat or dog beds, dog leashes, collars and blankets. These items can be new or gently used. Any donation is appreciated and will go to an animal in need! Collection bins will be located at the end of each grade level hallway and in the main office starting Monday May 6th – Friday May 31st.

6th and 7th grade boys & girls who plan to try out for ANY sport at KMS next year — You must have a sports physical done after May 15 by your private doctor or at school. The PIAA forms are available in the Nurse’s Office, outside of the Main Office, or the KCSD website.

Sports physicals will be done at KMS on May 16, 23 & June 4. They will NOT be offered again next year.

Consent forms must be returned directly to the nurse by May 10th if you plan to have a physical done at school. The fee for a sports physical at school is $15. Kennett won some medals yesterday at the Henderson Relays .. The competition was stiff and there were 9 schools there. Clare Harper, Lily Lusvardi, Catherine Caldwell, Ella Burnham and Audrey Sebastian brought home awards for their performances. Next up is a meet at Fugett on Wednesday.

This weekend is our production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Shows are tonight at 7:00 and tomorrow at 1:00 and 7:00. Come support your classmates, friends, and students. Tickets are $4 for students and $6 for adults and will be sold today at lunch and at the door.

Wow, We have some very talented artists in this building! It was a treat to walk around Open house last night and see the amazing pieces. The tables are getting moves outside the cafeteria this morning. Stop by at lunch and take your beautiful artwork home.
