Attention all 7th and 8th grade singers. Auditions for this year’s KMS Treble Choir will begin on Tuesday September 3. Auditions are open to all 7th and 8th grade sopranos and altos, regardless of gender. Auditions sign-ups are posted outside of room F105. If you’d like more information please see Mrs. Mancuso.

Girls soccer tryouts will take place, Tuesday, 9/3 through Thursday 9/5. From 2:45-4:30 pm. Please bring a water bottle, sneakers, cleats and shin guards. If you have any questions please see Coach Gottstein in D103.

Tryouts for the 7th and 8th grade boys soccer team will be held on Monday, September 9th and Tuesday, September 10th from 2:45-4:30 pm. Please bring cleats, shin guards, and a water bottle. Please arrange to be picked up promptly at 4:30pm. For more information and tryout forms, please see Mr. Lynch in A105, Miss Burton in A003, or Mrs. Bonacquisti in D107.

Attention 7th and 8th graders interested in trying out for field hockey. Tryouts begin next Wednesday, September 4th. If you have not done so already, please sign up outside of Coach Robinson’s room D101 to receive additional information.

7th grade students interested in trying out for volleyball beginning Tuesday, please see Mrs. Colgan in B108 today for information. Thank you

Wednesday, August 28, 2019 Day 3

Students you should be sure to take your schedule with you at all times. If you leave it in a classroom or in you locker it will not be helpful. It will make your life easier if you keep it with you.

Today is day 3 so you will go to your third year long cycle. It will be your last new class.

PE classes should report to the big gym when it time for you class.

Field Hockey tryouts start next week. They will be held on Wednesday Sept. 4th, Thursday the 5th, and Friday September 6th from 2:45 – 4:30. Stop by Mr. Robinson’s room D-101 to sign up and get a form that reminds you of dates and times and tells you what to bring.

7th and 8th grade Students who plan to try out for Cheerleading or FALL Sports – Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Soccer, or Volleyball – You must have a physical and PIAA forms on file in the nurse’s office. If you have not already returned these forms and had a sports physical done this summer, please return the form to the nurse’s office this morning. Lists of students who are cleared for Fall Cheerleading and Sports will be posted outside of the cafeteria tomorrow.

Tuesday, August 27, 2019 Day 2

Welcome back to your second day. Hopefully yesterday was a great day for you. Today will be that much easier.

Remember that this building is full of adults and students ready to help you. If you need anything ask for help. Students if you see someone that could use a smile or a little bit of help, do it. If you see someone in the cafeteria that needs a seat welcome them in. Here at KMS we are all in.

Today we will have principal advisories. 6th grade will go to their second period class and your cycles teacher will take you to the big gym when it is time. There our principal will fill you with helpful information.. 7th grade students will go to 4th period and your cycles teacher will escort you to the big gym. And then finally the 8th graders will go to the advisory with their 8th period teacher. Make sure you listen carefully to find out about information to help you be successful.

Happy First Day of School

We are so excited to see your bright faces back for the 2019-2020 school year. We hope you had a restful summer and you are ready to have your best year yet.

2019-20 Welcome Back & New Student Orientation

Hello KMS students and parents!

Can you believe it is almost time to go back to school? We have been working diligently here this summer preparing for another great school year! By now you should have received an important mailing from us!

To review the letter that was included in the mailing, please click here Welcome Back Letter to Parents Students 2019-20. All students will be able to view schedules with teacher names and periods on Skyward on Friday, August 16th so be sure to log on!

We are excited to invite all of our sixth grade students, all students who are NEW to our building, and our student guides to our New Student Orientation on Friday, August 16th from 9:30am- 12:30pm. Transportation and lunch are provided for these students. The bus will come 2 hours later than the scheduled time. You will receive a specific pick up time & location on your bus card.
