The 8th grade field hockey team defeated Lionville by a score of 2-1. Up against heavy rains and a 1-0 halftime deficit, the Blue Demons battled back to tie the game at 1, with a goal by Mary Carroll assisted by CJ Herring. With under 3 minutes to go, Greta Burns scored the game winner to seal the victory. Way to go Kennett!

Congratulations goes out to the KMS Cross-Country Team who ran a fabulous race yesterday afternoon! Shoes off to our girls who beat out both Patton and Fugett coming in with a whooping victory of 10 points over Patton and 31 points over Fugett. Way to go girls! In the lead were Quinn Simmons, Juliana Hernendez, Pauline Donnelly, Sadie Maxwell, and Karine Tan. Our boys also need to be recognized for continuing to shave off minutes off their times. Way to run Henry Stenta, Cole Ruhland, Cole Doherty, Marco Brid, and Sam Kjelstrom. Keep pushing forward boys and you’ll soon be in the lead! Don’t forget all team runners, we’ve got our trip to Carousel Park today. Meet in front of the school store and get ready to have some fun!
