With the game scoreless midway through the 2nd half, Whitney Walker lifted a pass that found the stick of CJ Herring who deflected the ball in for the goal. Kennett kept the pressure on throughout the game with the front line of Sarah Fritz, Emma Shiley, Greta Burns, Rylie McQuiston, Katie Rafferty, Elle Krikelis, Kailey Kierstead, and Noelle Foester. Mia Matthews, Mary Carroll, Jaylee Kilgore, Ashley Winkler, and Taylor Fisher controlled the middle of the field.
