On Friday, we had our annual Student-Faculty volleyball game.  It’s a great event that raises lots of money for families in our community.  We laughed and cheered our way through the afternoon. In addition, we had a dance performance by several teachers and many of our 8th graders between each of the volleyball games. We also had a student rap his poem that he wrote in his Language Arts class. It was a celebration of great things at KMS and we raised money. There was a lot of Kennett PRIDE!

8th-grade students remember to hand in your $3 to your 7th-period teacher. Today we will head to the big gym to cheer on our students and faculty that are playing in the game. All the funds raised go to families from our community who are in need. See you at the gym!

Students, let’s think about the schedule for a minute. We have one more full week of school before our conference week. Make sure you have returned your signed conference confirmation sheet to your conferencing teacher. Please plan to attend your conference as you are the most important link. Then we have Thanksgiving break. The Monday we return from break is the last day of Term 3 which means progress reports come out. If you need help advocate for yourself. The building is full of great resources.
