Students, tonight is We Are Kennett Night at KHS. The event starts in the KHS auditorium at 6:30. If any students are interested in the TV studio at the high school there will be a few students giving tours of the TV Studio and talking about the program.

The school store has new long sleeve t-shirts and hoodies. The school store will be open during 7th and 8th-grade lunches and every Tuesday and during 6th-grade lunches every Thursday. Come check it out!

Good morning KMS, As temperatures drop and snowfall nears, these announcements serve as a reminder for ALL students and staff to make sure you select your clothing and footwear carefully during the winter months. Please be sure to wear shoes with rubber soles and good treads. Students should dress properly for cold temperatures by wearing jeans without holes in them, winter coats, hats, and gloves. Students are also reminded to be extra safe when waiting for buses in the morning. Be mindful of how close you stand to the road and make sure you do not stand on the ice. Thank you.

And basketball season has begun. Congratulations to the Girl’s program on two WINS yesterday vs. Stetson. The 8th-grade team won the back and forth battle 30 to 24. Mia Matthews and Mary Carroll led all scorers with 10 and 9 points respectively. Strong teamplay and great passing helped secure the win.
Come support the girls at their home game tomorrow vs. Penns Grove.

Congratulations to the 7th-grade girl’s basketball team on their first win. The girls opened the season yesterday at Stetson in a competitive game. They will play their first home game on Friday against Penns Grove. Come out and support the girls!
