Attention KMS…6th Graders, 7th Graders, and 8th Graders! It is the week before Winter Break, and it’s time to guess this year’s Musical through this week’s clues.
Clue #2: The movie and musical versions have been incredibly popular because the fantastic storyline tells tales of magic, friendship, personal growth, and love.
All students interested in performing on stage or working on the Stage and Tech Crew should listen carefully to these important details and dates:
All stage performers: Actors, singers, dancers, and tumblers: The meetings to teach you how to be prepared for auditions are Friday, January 3rd and Tuesday, January 7th after school from 2:35-4:30 in the cafeteria. You should attend one of these meetings, but you may attend both to be more confident and feel more prepared for your audition. If you do not attend one of these meetings, you may not be best prepared to audition. Everyone who performs on stage must audition, but everyone who auditions will be invited to perform in the musical on May 8th and 9th.
Students interested in working on the Stage and Tech Crew: You must attend ONE of the meetings on Friday, January 3rd OR Tuesday, January 7th after school from 2:35-3:45 in the cafeteria. At this meeting, you will hear from Mrs. Coe what the different roles are and what is done backstage and in “the house.” You will petition for your top 3 role choices.
If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Uster in A004 or Mrs. Coe in B004 as soon as possible. Pay attention to tomorrow’s morning announcements for the 3rd Musical reveal clue.
Let’s celebrate the last day of school in a comfy holiday style! Bring in $1 this week to donate to After-The-Bell and students get to wear their fun Pajama Pants to school on the day before Winter break – Friday, Dec. 20th.
Join the fun, be comfy and support a good cause!
Looking for something fun to do after-school this Winter? After-The-Bell starts again on January 21st with new sign-up forms in homeroom right after Winter Break by January 3rd. There is something for everyone and lots of fun to be had by all. Drop by C106 with any questions.
Attention ALL students: CALLING ALL ABSENT NOTES Please dig deep into your backpacks to find your absent notes and bring them to the office.
We are participating in Toys for Tots. We are partnering with the Kennett Food Cupboard. Since 1947, U.S. Marines have been looking after America’s needy children at Christmas through this program. Last year our local Toys for Tots provided toys for over 550 children in our area.
Please stay tuned for a video!
Have a Great Day KMS
