Good Morning, KMS

Today is Day 6
Good morning. We are celebrating National School Counseling Week. One of our goals is to help you learn new skills to help you succeed. Facing your fears is one of those skills, and it’s one we all have to practice.
Determination, self-confidence, and bravery – all of which are characteristics of resilience – can be hard. But being brave, determined and self-confident starts with standing up to fear. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “We gain strength and courage by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face.” Or, as comedian Tina Fey put it, “You can’t be that kid standing at the top of the waterslide over-thinking it. You have to go down the chute.”
If you ever want to chat about your fears and ways to overcome them, feel free to stop by the school counseling office, we are here to help!
Attention 8th Students! The deadline for the TCHS field trip is next week. Mrs. Stoudemire does not want anyone to miss out on this great opportunity. If you lost your permission slip and need another copy, stop by the Guidance Office TODAY!!!! See Mrs. Stoudemire with questions.
Anyone interested in playing field hockey at Kennett High School next year should attend an informational meeting at 7:30 am on Thursday, February 6th in F109.
In honor of Black History month, we will be regularly including information, facts, videos to help give KMS students and staff a better understanding of the purpose and history of the month. After the weather, we will have our first fact.
