Attention all 8th-grade girls and boys basketball players: Don’t forget to turn in your permission slips and t-shirt order forms for the student-faculty basketball game to Mrs. MacNamara, Mrs. Bevan or Mrs. Clapp. If you have not turned yours in yet, please do so ASAP!

Please stay tuned for Student of the Month! (PAUSE)

There will be a softball interest meeting on Tuesday, 2/25 in D103 during lunch for all 7th and 8th-grade girls interested in trying out for softball. Any questions please see Coach Gottstein.

Congratulations to our Treble Choir members. You had an amazing day yesterday at Temple University with campus tours and many different rehearsals. You finished the day singing the National Anthem bursting with Kennett Pride at the basketball game. What a day for you all!

Claudette Colvin, who was born in 1939 is a pioneer of the Civil Rights Movement. She was the first to be arrested for refusing to give up her seat on the bus to a white person in Montgomery, Alabama months before Rosa Parks, but her protest was not publicized. Colvin was the plaintiff in the groundbreaking case that ruled Alabama’s bus segregation laws unconstitutional.

Now over to our favorite part of a Friday, Flocabulary!

Have a great day KMS
