Friday, March 13, 2020 Day 3

Out of an abundance of caution and an effort to safeguard the health and well-being of students and staff members in the community the Reading Olympics event scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th has been canceled. We will be scheduling an in-school competition for the five teams in April. Details to follow

Mrs. Shannon has posted updated lists of 7th and 8th-grade students who are cleared for Spring Sports outside the cafeteria. If you’re planning to try out for any of these sports, make sure your name is listed and see Mrs. Shannon today if you still need sports physical or consent forms.

Stay tuned for a Student of the Month Video.

World Down Syndrome Awareness Day is coming up on March 21. Rock your socks by wearing colorful, crazy printed, maybe even mismatched socks to school next Friday, March 20. The point of wearing unique socks is to remind people that differences can be beautiful. Fun socks with unique designs will be on sale at the school store for $2 during lunches on Tuesday and Thursday. You can also come by the life skills classroom, room C 101, to buy them anytime.

The track team has started this week. If you are interested however you are concerned about transportation home we want to help you.
