Here is a quote from Neil Gaiman to kick off the new year.

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something”.

Students, we need to think about the schedule. We will have exactly 2 weeks until the end of the second marking period. Term 4 will wrap up the second marking period on Wednesday, January 16th.

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball team on their 2 strong wins Friday and Yesterday.

On Friday Kennett shut down a loud Unionville crowd and the girls let their playing do the talking for them.

Kennett WON 20-14. With Brittany Sedano, the Ice Queen, going 3 for 4 from the line as the clock was ticking down.

Yesterday Kennett beat Chi-Chester 40-22. The offense was led by the 1 ,2 punch of Lusvardi and Kelly who combined for half of Kennett’s offense. 7 players total contributed on the offensive end – including the first bucket for Emily Althouse. Megan Ward held down the paint on the defensive end shutting down their 6’2” center.

Great work ladies…good luck in your game tomorrow! And come on out and support the team on Thursday in their final home game before the break.
