The beautiful singing filled the gym for the last two nights. KMS chorus students and music teachers really helped get us into the holiday spirit. You all did an amazing job.

We have one full week before our holiday break. Work hard and do your best.

Thursday, December 13, 2018 Day 1

After a tough loss to Peirce middle school in their first game, the 7th grade girls basketball team has rolled. They have beaten their last 3 opponents, two by double digits, including Stetson, South Brandywine and Penns Grove. Great job ladies. Coach Gottstein is proud of your team effort and Kennett Pride. Paladins!

Wednesday, December 12, 2018 Day 6

Attention Reading Olympics Participants: There will be meetings at each lunch today.”

The 8th grade girls basketball team improved to a 3-1 record with their decisive win yesterday over Oxford.

The score was 41-26. Lusvardi and Kelly led the offensive attack. Aggressive defense and unselfish offense allowed everyone to play and contribute. On Monday Kennett defeated South 47-13 with 7 different players scoring. Including the offensive debuts of both Harper and Genereaux.

Congratulations ladies! Rest up for the Big Game on Friday vs. Patton.

Monday, December 10, 2018 Day 4

This announcement is for Mrs. Mancuso’s Chorus students.

Today our 2nd and 4th period classes will have their combined rehearsals in the small gym. Teachers, positive attendance will be utilized.

Period 2 classes will report to the small gym immediately following announcements. Period 4 classes will meet during periods 4 and 5 today.

The 8th Grade Girl’s Basketball team lost a hard fought game on Friday vs. Stetson.

The score was 22-21. Kennett just needed about 10 more seconds of play to pull off an amazing come back with the 4thquarter surge. Kennett outscored Stetson in the 4th quarter 17 to 4. Your coaches are so proud of your determination girls. NEVER stop believing! NEVER give up! Come support the girls this Monday and Tuesday at their home games!

Congratulations to the KMS First Lego League Team and Coach Bonacquisti ‘s Team “TEAM” for winning the coveted Judges award at their tournament on Saturday, December 1. Give a high five to members Blake , Colin Hannah , Josh , Jack , June , Lily, Logan , Paulien , Masahiro, Nick, and Parker . They demonstrated outstanding teamwork and perseverance!

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Girl’s Basketball Team on their strong win yesterday.

Kennett defeated Pierce 39-16. Strong defense and unselfish offense helped the team to victory.

Lily Lusvardi led the balanced offensive attack with 10 points, followed closely by Mykayla Kelly with 9.

5 other players scored as well. Megan Ward was a beast on the boards. Great Job Ladies. Good luck in your game tomorrow vs. Octorara.
